Iceland

The edge of Europe. Vast barren landscapes formed by still active volcanoes, topped with ice and blessed with beautiful waterfalls. On this trip we hiked part of the Laugavegur trail and followed the ring road around Iceland. Given that in summer the daylight hardly fades, most pictures at otherwise crowded hotspots were taken between 04.00 and 6.00 am.
